They say there will be a marked detour when the Odana - Hammersley segment is
resurfaced. I wonder what they have in mind.

Does anybody know if the bike elevator is expected to be back in service in the
foreseeable future? I knew there was a planned outage for repairs on Tuesday,
and I planned my route accordingly. But yesterday and today I came to the
elevator and saw the Out of Order sign and had to take a detour
Charming idea, but there may be unintended consequences.
What if you need to cut the lock on your own bike? I have done that

When I was riding eastbound on the SW Path around 6 pm, I saw an ambulance on
the path, just west of Odana road, and somebody -- evidently a bicyclist -- was
sitting on the ground looking dazed. The police SUV might have arrived
afterwards to gather up the bicycle.

land that currently belongs the the Occupy Madison Tiny House Village. Here's
Brenda Konkel's take on the subject:

parking lot left. Since we have an excess of parking lots, and this
neighborhood has plenty of street parking, it seems a no-brainer.
