Several horned grebes in various states of molt at Lasalle park at the west end of burlington off lakeshore drive late yesterday. Also a ww scoter that managed to swallow 4 huge conglomerations of what I assumed were zebra mussels in short order. Must have a tough esophagus!! Jennifer minogue
