If we were to move to it, we'd have to lookout for IM/GM security issues much more closely. Note that every IM6.x release that is made is security related, with CVEs often assigned later on, although several distros upgrade ASAP. I know that we don't have the manpower to update to it every time a new release is made, but we need to pay closer attention now. If anything recent comes up with regards to IM6 on oss-security, I'll let people know about it. -- http://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page

If the package version shown above is not available from the locations shown above, or from the legacy/ directory at ftp.ImageMagick.org/pub/ImageMagick you can download it from the BLFS package server at ftp://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/blfs/conglomeration/ImageMagick/. Can it be used as a drop-in replacement of imagemagick, e.g. will my convert scripts still work? I mainly use imagemagick's convert, actually exclusively, thinking about it. ? rgds, akh -- -- decentral.ch - IT Stuff Tim Tassonis Dennlerstasse 36 8047 Zürich st...@decentral.ch +41 79 229 36 17 -- http://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
