Hi Anna,
If you install the fresh copy of Avast over your old copy, it may not erase
your old settings. So I would suggest uninstalling the old copy first and then
install the fresh copy.

Hi Rich,
It sounds like the program installed itself, and is very possible malware.
I would try uninstalling it, and then run a virus and malware scan.
It is a good practice not to download any software if you don't know what it

If you have any problems with getting rid of it, let us know.
Has anyone used or is using the Google Calendar?
I'm looking for some tips on the web interface.

Hi Rick;
I may have given the wrong impression.
I installed the program by downloading it and saving it.
The installer went to my documents like other programs and I ran the
installer.
I just haven't done anything with the program yet.
I get some type of message for me to click on a balloon
Honestly, I use google calendar but I use it with my phone and/or Outlook
and google calendar sync.
The web interface isn't terrible but it's not ideal either.

Hello Rich and all. If you are unsure of that one uninstall it and get one
called regscrub xp. I think you can still get it from www.jfwlite.com. It is
fairly easy to use.

Hi Yvonne,
My wife did most of the set up for my weather sig. I tried to do it
and didn't have much luck. I know that you do have to purchase the weather
sig. and then it has to be set up for your e-mail. Let me know if you get
it set up. I can always ask my wife for help if needed.
Hi Yvonne,It costs

I think it's a one time purchase.

The switch -f is what forces all programs to close out. The -t switch is for
