Interesting as deisel isn't thought of for speed, but cool for the

Our deck is funny. We've got two doors on it, with steps going off each door

Anyone got a line on vibrating plate compactors?
I am wanting to buy one, preferably second hand. Looking for something in
Canada.
Somehow I am not having much luck in locating one in Canada and I am thinking
that getting one through customs might be a spot of bother.
Thanks.

I sent a mail to

Can someone let me have a valid email address for requesting it?

That is as might be however I am reaching the age where I am no longer very
interested in changing the world. What I do want though is a working plate
compactor that I don't have to use up hours and favours from people with
pick-ups to drag one of those things back and forth from a tool rental
Lee, good idea. you just never know.

Hi,
It turns out that cutting angles of 30 degrees on the ends of the legs of the

each end short length down and line up the legs so that the
I like the separate benches because they can be used in other places besides
the picnic table, say grouped around the outdoor firepit we intend to get.
Also, and this is just me, I hate banging my knees on the cross braces lol.
So, basically, what I intend to do is do like Lee says and feel up

Yes, it will have a back and four legs. Not those little benches you see at

Robert, one thing you might want to try in making a different type of picnic
table. In the past I have come across a table that is two separate benches.
The backs pivot up and pin together making a table with bench seats. When done
you unpin them and have two long benchseats with backs.

I am seeing compactors that weigh around 175 to 200 lb. and run around 6 horse
power. The jumpingJack type reversible type are just a little small for some
