It's actually a phone number for in and or out bound calls including voice
mail and all the other features available on your regular phone system. So
keeping it on topic, you could use this product to call Home Depot to have
your dry wall delivered.

Slope is just rise over run.
If you draw a line from the front edge of one tread, to the front edge of
the tread above it, then the angle formed by that line and the lower tread
is:
tangent of that angle = rise over run
or:
inverse tangent of rise over run = that angle.

Hi Shane
A very slight addition to Dale's excellent advice,
a probe made of stainless tubing might get hot more slowly
than one made of steel as stainless is a poorere conductor

I wonder if a stainless tube just bigger than the solder might make a usefull

robert,
Depends on the diameter, if its under 2 inches or so,
then yoou can get cheap hole saw sets that fit a
portable drill. Depending on the thickness you may have to
go in from either side to get all the way through.
If it's bigger than 2 inches or so, you might do it with a

Like Tom mentioned a set of hole saws can be gotten for under ten bucks. They
are not the greatest but for occassional use they perform ok. They will barely
penetrate a three quarters inch board and the pilot drill may not come all the
way through on a inch and a half piece. Two choices use
Option 3 would be to simply use a 1/4 standard length drill bit, drill your
pilot hole then follow up with the hole saw. Using this method you won't
need to worry about locating the pilot hole on the reverse side of your
board in the event the pilot bit on the hole saw didn't penetrate.
A lot! Magic Jack is it's own device, Skype is a program inside your

I'll be cutting a hole in a 2 by 6 board. I was thinking of just going really
low tech and putting masking tape in a circle and then cutting it out with a
knife.

OK for low tech put the tape circle and drill a series of small holes such as
one quarter. then your knife should be able to split out the chunks and then
smooth it out as needed.

You should never use a hole cutter in anything other than a drill press for
reasons of safety however you can safely use a hole saw. These come in a number
of sizes, I think my largest is 4 and a half inches. These can be used in a
hand power drill. There is a central twist bit which is longer
Hi Carl,
You can use a herbicide like Roundup to kill the weeds but they will come back.
You can use something like gasoline (petrol) or oil, but use it at night when
no one will be looking, these days it is not considered green. You could use a
little salt to but this can damage your concrete
Well it's just for a 2 or 3 inch diameter hole for a patio umbrella. So I
should be able to find a hole saw at the hardware store to fit.

we use boiling water to kill the weeds that come up in our brick

You don't need to use very much water.
