Hi Max, You should be able to use about any length hose that you want. I buy it in 50 foot sections with a quick connect on each end. I also run my compressor on a 50 foot, 12 gauge, 3 conductor extension cord. I would also suggest that you have at least a 20 amp breaker. Steve _

When using something like a nail gun which uses air in short pulses the length doesn't make any difference. However, if using a rotary tool such as an air powered torque wrench, that uses air continuously, the length might cause a pressure drop which would take power away from the tool.
