Hi,
I don’t think you can, unless you have a braille display with a dedicated
braille keyboard that uses another protocol than the standard keyboard protocol.
Don’t know how other hardware keyboards handle typing in Arabic, but if other

Hi,
You shouldn’t need the brltty input method for the Mantis, since it behaves as
a regular keyboard, you can keep your input set to gboard, or whatever keyboard
you use.
With kind regards,
Henk.

Hello Dave,
This one works, in that it no longer crashes but reports "access not
granted" when I try to connect the Mantis.
The same now happens on an Android 10 device, where I observe the following:

This new version crashes as soon as I try to enable it. This is even before

I haven't checked the logs yet. It's getting late over here.
I'll generate a bug report and do a quick check of the logs before going to

Which one would you choose?

The screen I get when tapping the notification suggests that I can change

Hi,
I remember there being some discussion about devices like the Mantis Q40 or
the Braillant BI40X and their use on Android, however since I did not have

The first thing you need to do is to install Android's SDK (software
development kit) on your computer. That'll give you the adb (Android debug
bridge) command. It has a logcat function for getting the log.

Hi,
I'm not sure if I brought this one up before, if so, I apologize.
TalkBack has some form of smart focusing, which means that if you visit a

when you last visited the screen.
This can be seen at work in news apps like

Hi,
I was hoping it would be possible to use the TalkBack keyboard commands from
