I posted this in the old forum, I just noticed it was here now, apologize
for the double post.
I have been testing out CAS 5.0.0 RC2 and I have got just the basic setup
configured with active directory and I can successfully authenticate. When
I try to use the new change password functions it
I found the problem and I'm able to access the console.
I tried to override the user-details.properties location by setting the
following but it's clearly not working.
# user.details.file.location = classpath:user-details.properties
Do you have any idea why I still get Access Denied?

Ok, how do I accomplish this? I have tried adding my userid
to user-details.properties but do not want to have my password in clear
text. So, what's the recipe to make this work?

Hello,
I am trying to set up a CAS server authenticating user based on a database
with a very specific structure/content.
User password are stored in a very specific way. Two columns: user
(username), pwd (encrypted-hashed password).
Encrypted-hashed password means :
Plain pwd ->
Is it possible to access the CAS 5 management console using an account
other than "casuser"? Is so, can the admin users be placed in a static file
and have their primary authentication source be LDAP? In CAS 3.4.x we only
had to add the matching userid to deployerConfigContext.xml ->
I have a problem with this configuration. I have a
MyUsernamePasswordCredential that extends UsernamePasswordCredential, but
unfortunately I can't bind this model in the flow. How is that possible ?
Thank you.

Yes. RC2 hasn’t propagated it seems. Give it a few more hours and try again
then. I’ll post back if I find anything useful on sonatype.

My experience trying to upgrade from both RC1 and RC2-SNAPSHOT is anything

Hi,
What is solution for protecting Admin pages, if CAS instance is running
behind proxy?
For CAS Client Info Logging Filter I can use alternativeIpAddressHeader
parameter. But what about admin pages ipregexauthenticator?
Do I have to use Tomcats RemoteIpValve?
Best regards,
Siim
