We have used and liked Epifane, easy to work with (even the husband can manage
;) ) seems to last well, not peeling off, seems to fade nicely, which makes
for easy touch ups.
Cheers,
Bettina

Try using high jacklines. Easy to clip into, nothing in your feet to trip on,
and you can grab them as a last resort.
Much preferable to having lines on the deck.

Hi Randy,
We Received ours, no problem. We initially had the older version, which had
trouble charging, sailtimer replaced it with the newer model at no charge. So
overall we are satisfied with the company's service.
Currently the issue seems to be connectivity (ok on ipad, but wont connect on
We just redid some of ours as there were suspected leaks, and did the same as
danny suggested below. Stanchion bases are tight now, leaks fixed. Butyl is the
way to go Imho. (And check for soft spots nearby while you are at it- we had a
couple and they were fixed at the same time.) still one
The stability graph has three C 25s listed.
A 25, a mk1 and a mk2
When was the 25 built (as opposed to the mk 1) ?

Hi Mark
Did you figure out where the water is coming from?
We seem to be having exactly the same problem. During the deck restore the
seeps we used to experience occasionally during rainstorms were fixed. Now we
sometimes find water in the settee lockers during/after sailing. it stays there
as
Rule # 1 avoid collision
Common sense rule #2 who has more maneuverability and can get out of the way
easier? I'd say it's easier to steer a bit to port or starboard for a boat then
for the paddleboarder to paddle like hell to get out of the way.
As a paddleboarder I always appreciate when
Hi Lorne,
I found this quite useful...you get the lingo and the overall concepts along
with good drawings.

Correct, we've tightened up the rail a couple of years ago. still finding butyl
blobs occasionally inside the boat. I used the poly caulk along the toerail and
the deck, so don't think it even touched the butyl. We left it to cure for a
month (boat was stored indoors). BTW I could get the
Thank you for the article on the cruising license ...that was useful...but
didn't help re the I94 visa exempt form. Maybe I'll try to contact those
officers mentioned directly as the info line people really didn't have the
answer .
As for the reporting of every movement, reminds me of
Arrival on a commercial vessel is a non issue. Private /charter boat seems to
be the problem. Or did you mean to say you've gone back and forth n your own or
charter boat?

It's not really a C question but rather a travel by boat to the US question
when not a US or Canadian citizen but coming from a visa "exempt" country. So
holler if I am breaking the "rules".
I have had multiple exchanges with US customs/ border control because
apparently you need this I94 form
Don't think that's what he meant...a) anyone owning a C has provided evidence
of some smarts already ,maybe it's merely suggestions for how to behave "in
character" whenever you come up here so the Canadians don't get confused.

Yes, although most of the deck/ cabin top has kiwi grip due to all the rounded
sections and the fact that most of this gets walked on. We washed , sanded,
washed the entire boat, primed the areas that had fibreglass work done as well
as the areas under the brightside paint, the rest just got
Ryan,
Nice job.
Re finishing the topside.
Just do it.
We fell into the same "trap" you did, refinished the hull, from a dull
battleship grey to a bright blue and white last year, which made the beige or
whatever colour the deck was look grimy (nevermind the cockpit that had

Hi mark,
We put a garelick motor mount on. Makes lifting the outboard a breeze.
Sometimes it can be a bit difficult to get it in the lowest position. But would
definitely recommend.
Installed with an aluminium backing plate .
