moved up to current c&cif early built shark he will know what to look
for in your yachthinterholler sharks in early days used many different
metals for chainplateseven aluminum...let us know how it goes..
many older c&c s built early 1970s especially custom builts have aluminium
chain plates ..the advise you have from yard is not to helpfultheir
answer is to replace with stainless? they are stainless steel workers?

still using old autopoliot 3000 works fine...for what i need...anyone
with spare parts for this model i would be interested talking to in regard
to purchasing..works very well on my 1968 redline 41 ..as long as boat sail
are trimmed & balanced correctly.

some c&c designs such as viking 34s have needed reinforcement when used
in rough waters backstay & headstay...if going to europe would
consider...not that difficult of a job..

plus new steering cable...rudder shaft bearings top & bottom redone.
new system to lubricate rudder shaft..bottom sanded &repainted csc

it sure is a c&c ...one done for prominent yachtman of the timesailed
on her 1970..was greatlater raced against her.on redline 41two
great performance yachts...still competative in phrf racing..price appears
very reasonable

this price in the 200s is right in line with total redone cnc43i doubt
you can get more yacht for the price.can get larger cncs for less but
condition sets price not age...this one really looks goodsomeone will
have a fine yacht

last two years for 42000 and 46000...this one has higher engine hours...but

gasoline...only safe items human nose &high quality gasoline fume

electric bilge pump not best way to get rid of gasoline spill but 5 miles
from shore full crew &hot muffler with fuel dripping on it ...only drown
whole area possible..whale 25 portable pump pumping from lake was great
help..enough water in boat to above floor boards auto pumps kept us from

in my sailing ownerships...had experience leaking gas fuel dripping on
water jacked muffler ..noticed when engine shutdown to begin distance
