Need help from the guru C people here please!
I need to replace the shifter cable from my cc 33 I don'
Shifter/throttle cables are available from West Marine. Replace both. Get
one of the old ones out and take it to WM for replacement options. Use the
single remaining cable to fish the 2 new cables in.
In my case I had to remove the compass and pretty well disassemble the top
of the pedestal.

I need to replace the shifter cable from my cc 33 I don't know the length,
haven't got it out yet it looks like is a PITA! anyone here had replaced
one before that can give me some advice where can I get one? And how can I
get that darn thing out,
The cable is likely a TELEFLEX cable which are manufactured in varying lengths
and can be ordered from the manufacturer or on the used marked. I have two
such cables I installed in 2004 and removed in 2008 because of my renovations
and now don't require due to the electric installation.
