For those of you are preparing for the gullfest this coming Saturday at Valmont
(yes, there will be a quiz), you might want to check out an article in the

The male Barrow's Goldeneye was still working the area to the north of the
Florida St. bridge over the Platte this afternoon about 3:00 pm. His companion
bird joined him every so often.
Just south of the bridge was a gorgeous male and several female Common

(north of Mineral Avenue, 1 bock west of Santa Fe Drive, behind Aspen Grove
shopping center).
It is a new year and the Boulder Bird Club is offering some fun trips to get
your year lists started off right. The biggest bird walk in the country(know
any bigger?) starts Saturday at Noon at the Valmont XCel plant. If you are
unfamiliar with this walk, you really should try it and see why
