A calling flyover at Lagerman Reservoir. Other migrants included a
Black-bellied Plover, Lark Buntings, a Field Sparrow, and many other expected

Good day to get out with the cool temps and low cloud deck.

Greetings this am there were 6 Wilson's Warblers hanging out in our
boxelder tree at home and a dozen more down by Lee Martinez Park working
some boxelder, ash and cottonwood trees. In the same Wilson's Warbler

Also, Cassin Plumbeous Virgo further west.

I didn't see the Long-tailed Jaeger this morning at Pueblo Reservoir when I
looked for it for about a half an hour. The only terns still around were two
Forster's Tern.
I spent most of my time this morning, birding below Pueblo Reservoir dam. Best
birds were a Tennessee Warbler, Red-headed
Correction - I meant a Cassin's Sparrow.
I did not observe a Field Sparrow at Lagerman, but there were dozens of

I was able to attend Mr. Temple's presentation two days ago at 'Birds in Art'
art exhibition in Wausau, WI (which I have artwork in) and Mr. Temple's talk
was both interesting and entertaining. I give it a thumbs up and recommend
attending if you are able.br/br/Cathy Sheeterbr/Auroraa

We saw one Baird’s Sparrow this morning around 9:30 am on the north side of
Drennan Road, about 1/4 to 1/2 mile west of Hemmingway.
About 15 minutes later, we saw another one farther west, where there is a large
patch of tall weeds on the south side of Drennan Rd. We also saw Cassins’s
Hi Everyone-
Today 9/6 I did a loop that included Last Chance (Washington Co), Jackson
Reservoir (Morgan Co), Crow Valley (Weld Co), and Grandview Cemetery
(Larimer Co).
I was at Last Chance at dawn. There was a short burst of activity when the
sun hit the trees, including an American

This morning at Lathrop State Park we found two Black Terns and one Common
Tern. Have been wondering what all those new huge floats and buoys near the
swim beach were good for...now we know...terns LOVE them!
Have to admit we puzzled over the Common Tern for some time, it was still
in breeding
Hello, Birders.
It was a great day today, Sat., Sept. 6, at Greenlee Preserve, Boulder
County. I saw two life birds for the site: Cassin's Kingbird and Loggerhead
Shrike. Also a Townsend's Warbler and a Northern Waterthrush. And a
stupefying amount of Wilson's Warblers. Also noted were Dusky
COBirders,
I was out with my boys today just mostly messing around as boys do but we did
have a couple of nice birds. The first one was me messing around as you
typically don't go to a cemetery to do such. We had actually just been at
Prospect Lake/Memorial Park and did a quick drive through
