El Paso County Birders,
There are a lot of birds at this site that I’d love to see, given eBird.
What’s the best way to approach the place? Time of day? Etc.
Thanks!

Good morning,
To those who’ve seen the Sagebrush Sparrow, which side of the parking lot
does it favor? I’ve looked a couple of times with no luck, and narrowing
down the options might help.
Thanks,

Checked both areas where the Snowy Owl has been reported, but to no avail.
Weather is pretty poor.
No other birders in sight either!
Try for the sapsucker on our way back to Denver.

Good morning, birders,
Did anyone try for the snowy yesterday? Or was everyone out on a CBC?
Thanks!

Lucky you!
A bunch of us were there around 2:30, and only saw the Yellow-throated (along
with a Yellow-rumped, a Chickadee, a House Finch and a Flicker). The PRWA may
have shown up after I left at 2:45.
i’ll be back in the morning!

All,
I forgot to ask, has anyone seen the Snowy Owl in the last few days? The last
reported sighting (on the RBA) is 11/25. But has anyone gone looking and come
up short?
Thanks again,

Grosbeak? I
grew seeing them in Oregon, but haven’t seen one since I started keeping track
(in 1984).
Thanks!
