At 7:30 this morning I saw two Muscovy Ducks at the lake. Later in the
morning Tanja Britton put them up on ebird and wondered what to do about
them. I'm asking what do I do? Should I report them? Can I count them as a
new County bird?

Not sure these are too chase-able, unless we can figure which pond
they went to, though two juvenile Tundra Swans were flying along the
Arkansas River in Pueblo, this morning. I was near the Pueblo Nature
Center, when I saw them. I got a few photos in flight. I checked one
likely pond nearby,
Regarding sightings of rosy-finches this winter (or any time of the year
for that matter), please look for color bands and/or silver bands. It would
be interesting to see if any of the rosies Kim Potter banded at Aspen and
other locations could be re-sighted! I would really appreciate knowing if

So far, the CBC Website isn't open for people to register for

Hello Colorado Birders:
My family and I moved from New England to Telluride at the end of the
summer and I have been anxiously awaiting the descent of rosy-finches.
After 21 inches of snow over a 72 hour period, I finally got my wish
yesterday. When I looked out the window this morning, the swarm
I saw them at the Pelican Point beach on 11/30 around 9am. They were along
the beach headed out to the point and then flying back up into the trees.
Another birder ID'ed them as Rusty and let me get a closer look at them
through his scope (thanks Randy!). We were at the base of the tree and got
Correction, it is more SW from previous report. I walked along the Wetlends
area South and found it across from the cove, looking SW not SE.

I found one of the Rusty Blackbirds reported at this location this morning.
It was foraging along the shore across from the cove, a little further SE
from previous report.
