I have a question about SHR SMS. I loved SHR, but I found that call
volume was very low, and I had trouble finding my SMS messages. When
receiving an incoming SMS, I could not delete the notify window with the
X on the upper illume taskbar, and all of my SMS messages said they were

Does anyone know a method to delete sim card contacts on 2008.x? I'm
currently using FDOM, and some bug imported all my contacts onto my sim
card with the name "/hp" and I was wondering if anyone knew a method.

I've encountered a bug where on importing my vcard contacts they were
also added to my sim card, all with the name "/fp". I'd like to mass
remove all of my sim card contacts but can't find anything on the wiki
about it.
How can I remove all my sim card contacts? I'm using qtopia, but a

with numbers instead of letters.
2. No sound on receiving a call or sms.
3. Call volume is turned all the way up, but extremely quiet (even
compared to previous qt versions).
4. Menus scroll way past the top or bottom of where they should.

I've flashed the android rootfs and uImage and I'm unable to get a
boot. I'm using the daily build u-boot and I've tried with 8GB uSD
ultra ii and regular. Both result in a blank screen after the white flash.

I'm having trouble booting my neo. I can get into NOR flash, and NAND
flash, but the NAND flash only supplies one option: the "Boot" command.
This command prints a message saying "Wrong image format for the bootm
command."

I'm using the latest 2008.9 kernel, could this be the issue? FDOM
doesn't seem to supply a kernel to use, but I'd think that the 2008.09
kernel would be fine.

Well, when I do opkg update, opkg upgrade my phone will spend about
20-30 minutes updating everything (from the latest qtopia image on
trolltech's website) and I need a lot of those packages

On further investigation, using the libgsmd-tool program, listing SMS
messages gives the program a segfault. I seem to be able to execute any
of libgsmd-tool's shell commands EXCEPT anything SMS-related. Is there
any way to wipe my SMS clean? There is absolutely no way that I can

As for the Messages program taking a long time to load, this issue very well
could have to do with accessing my SIM. Is there a setting somewhere to only
use in-phone memor
