Thanks everyone for the help. I ended up removing the System file from the System Folder and then renaming the System Folder to something innocuous. The wierd thing was (to me at least) that after this treatment was applied, instead of giving me the blinking ?, the SE/30 would momentarily display

Well, go for a composite instead of pure liquid fuel - they're commercially available (AeroTech, among others, make them,) and much easier to handle and deal with, while still providing some pretty nice punch. I have worked with solids before but this time I am going for a liquid fuel engine
