Just for the record, I have used six different cameras with Vista, and they

compatible, including one that dates back to the previous century.
I was thinking that the assertion that cameras would not work with vista was
odd, but I haven't seen the whole article. I'd go to the newstand when i'm
at the bookstore but it's from months ago. I was going to poke around on
the net to see if I could find anything on it.

They mention major camera makers? They mention Sigma. They don't mention
Canon, Nikon,
Olympus, Kodak, Sony, Pentax, Panasonic, Fuji, Casio, HP, or
Part of the article makes it sound like hardware (firmware) another
part talks about the software. Could anyone care less about the
software? The author also is very free with his accusastions, since
two cameras from one maker don't work he assumes there will be many.
