been the precooked kind or the processed stuff that you just heat for
Some of these are not correct. For instance 6 table spoons is not 8 fluid
ounces if 2 table spoons is 1 ounce. That is the first I have noticed. I
will proof the rest. Gerry

buttermilk in this recipe -- a very important ingredient if you
really want pourable batter -- many figured out the missing

A friend of mine makes something similar with cottage cheese. For a topping
she uses warmed applesauce, which is also good. Cheese based pancakes are
also a good menu item for diabetics as the protein to carbohydrate ration is

When I was single and bothered to cook for myself, I always cooked way more
than I needed so I could freeze some and have another home-cooked meal a day
or two later. Here is one of my very favorite crock pot recipes for beef.

the ground beef with rice and when they cook te rice swells and pokes out to
make the meatballs spiny!)
Has anyone here made these? I've found a couple of recipes but was oping to
get a first hand account on this one!
I've never made them, but a friend has and said they were good.

Hope you enjoy them as much as we did. It became a favorite for a while.

I have made them and they came out fine. It's important to make
sure the rice is well incorporated into the meatball mixture.

This recipe looks interesting, but I wondered if anyone has actually tried
it? The 1 cup water mixed with 1 cup flour is a little concerning to me. If
you have tried it, please reply or if you have an opinion. Thanks Vicki

the kitchen.
Steaks are pretty good on the George formon grill. I usually cook them for 12
