-Caveat Lector- Perhaps it would be of help to change the subject header when you reply and put a KEY word in it, so that those who DON'T want to read that stuff can delete it without having to open it. And since this isn't 100% foolproof (it requires teamwork), another way is to set up filters for your incoming mail to filter out stuff. For example, day could set his/hers up so that anything with the word nazi in it would go to TRASH or something. Hope this helps. Perhaps the most persistent and perplexing stimulus to the curiosity of American right-wing conspiracy researchers has been the seeming contradiction of collectivist sympathies among big business and banking magnates who one would expect to be individualists. On the "left", the fascist, corporate state predilections of big businessmen have been long known and researched. The right, on the other hand, tends to deny the fascist tendencies of big business and instead, stress the role of big business in fostering communist- socialist societies such as Soviet Russia and Red China. The "left", of course, is as blind to the big business connection to communism as it is alert to the big business connection to fascism. The Project theory postulates that an objective point-of-view exists from which the high echelon manipulations of big money can be seen as a consistent whole, ie. as an artificial technology of "commercial organism" building and "natural" social organism manipulation that encompasses the facts and observations of both left and right, but the interpretations of neither. Perhaps, the key to the puzzle consists in ignoring the classical "individual rights" defense of business and commercial/capitalism, as invented and propagated by agents of the British East India Company such as Jeremy Bentham and John Stuart Mill, and, instead, viewing business as the art of consciously building artificial social organism by harnessing individual self interest through the artifice of money to the thereby emergent "social organism- or collective designed to ulitmate serve an elite. Grasping this postulated technology outside the inner sanctum of the conspiracy is at a rudimentary level. The Occult Technology of Power, reviewed elsewhere in this issue, was perhaps the first attempt, albeit an a-historical attempt, at adumbrating this technology. The Occult Technology should be read as a primer. Most important in researchin the concept of "artificial organism" creation, hereafter "commercial imperialism", is the study of the British East India Company, by far the most titanic single organ of commercial imperialism ever launched by the "City" or any other earthly imperialist entity. Unfortunately, research on the British East India Company is no easy task. Though a few books exist on this topic, nearly all seem to recount the same dry historical narrative, mostly the military battles and suppression of various revolts. Somehow, the juicy details about the Company's founders the Board of Director's secret committees, major stockholders, Royal sponsors, details of exploitive practices such as "tax farming" and narcotics traffic, etc, seem to be purposely down played. Also down played is the extraordinary public antipathy to the Company that ebbed and flowed in waves over the extraordinary life of the Company. One suspects there is a vast, forgotten trove of "conspiracy literature", contemporary to the Company that has been lost to history. Project readers are encouraged to report whatever evidence they nay have of this "lost" literature. However, even such pro-Establishment accounts as Brian Gardners' _The East India Company_ who writes-off admitted popular opposition to ignorance and envy, admits that there was something unfathomable and mysterious in a "private" Company that once governed a major fraction (1/5) of the world's population! Perhaps his introduction which quotes several other authors will give Project readers a taste of that mystery: A government which through might of arms, was the most powerful in Asia: a government, the revenue of which was greater than that of Britain; a government which ruled over more people than the present government of the United States; a government owned by businessmen, the shares of which were daily bought and sold- As Macaulay said, 'It is strange very strange.' The days of the East India Company seem remote, prodigiously remote, and so they are in every way except in the real passage of time. Whitewashing the Bush boys

If Robert Fiske finds that Bill and Hillary have committed crimes in the
so-called Whitewater-gate matter, they should pay the price. But according
to
our Special Prosecute-o-Meter (to come), it would seem that the Clintons'
behavior is being measured differently from alleged banking misdeeds by the
Bush
family--Neil (Silverado Savings), $1 billion; Jeb (Broward Savings), $221.8
million; and George (BNL-Iraqgate), $5 billion. All proved a good deal more
costly than the up-to-$50 million involved in the Madison Savings-Whitewater
mess.
But while the national media--and specifically the New York Times--has
focused
its high-caliber lens on the Clintons, they apparently have forgiven and
forgotten the Bushes' banking practices.
Consider the remarkably kind November 30 Times front-page profile of Bush
boys
George Jr. (running for Texas governor) and Jeb (running for Florida
governor).
The story, by Times veteran Maureen Dowd, was an extraordinary triumph of
style
over substance.
Dowd kicked off the piece by describing a campaign stop in St. Petersburg,
Fla.,
where a woman directed a stream of idiotic "One World tool of the
Communist-Wall
Street international conspiracy" accusations at Jeb Bush (coyly described as
a
"slender six-foot-four"). Dowd jumped to Jeb's defense, labeling the woman's
accusations "wacky."
Fair enough. But in her 2,000-word article Dowd neglected to mention any of
the
other, far more serious allegations of wrongdoing that have been leveled at
the
Bush boys, leaving readers with the impression that these accusations are
also
just the "wacky" complaints of nuts out to harass the poor Bush family.
After
all, the "Newspaper of Record" has declared them so.
Had Dowd done her background work she would have found no shortage of
decidedly
unwacky Bush stories. Among others: a 1987 front-page article in the Wall
Street
Journal chronicling how Jeb helped a Cuban con man bilk Medicare out of
millions
of dollars; MoJo's Sept./Oct. 1992 cover story ("My Three Sons") on the Bush
sons' long list of dubious business transactions (including George Jr.'s
alleged
violation of security laws governing insider stock sales when he sold his
shares
of Harken Oil on the eve of the Gulf War); and a recent New Yorker article
detailing sleazy activities by Neil and number-four son Marvin Bush. The
Times
even ran an April 1992 story listing some of the Bushes' questionable deals
(perhaps all motivated by the "Bush creed of competition" that Dowd notes
approvingly).
When contacted by MoJo, Dowd wouldn't defend her story, saying, "Look, I'm
not
an investigative reporter, and clearly I wish now that I'd written a
different
piece. The Bush family never really liked me anyway." They may like her
better
now.
Short memories are also evident in Washington, D.C., where Bob Dole is
complaining that House Banking Chairman Henry Gonzalez, D-Tex., is dragging
his
feet on Whitewater, but "held weeks of hearings" when Neil Bush got swept up
in
the failure of Silverado, even though he "had no direct involvement."
Actually, Neil sat on Silverado's board of directors until the thrift was
declared functionally insolvent. That's about as "involved" as you can get.
Republicans are also upset over a Small Business Administration loan of
$300,000, taken out by Susan McDougal, that went into Whitewater Development
and
later into default. Guess they've forgotten that $2.35 million SBA loan Neil
received for his new company, Apex Energy, after bugging out of Silverado.
(He
walked away from this obligation, too.)
But there may be a silver lining: If our meter is used as a gauge, then
Gonzalez's demand for a special prosecutor in the BNL-Iraqgate affair should
get
serious consideration. Republicans ought to meditate on the old adage,
"Beware
what you wish for. You may just get it."

In an interview with Human Events, he said: SCHIPPERS: I think the most important factor that the public should know that they don't know is that, before we ever appeared on the floor of the United States Senate, the House impeachment managers and I were told that there was no way we could win. QUESTION: Who told you that? SCHIPPERS: Six Republican senators. Members of the leadership. QUESTION: Members of the Republican leadership came over to you? SCHIPPERS: No, we were over there. We were discussing the kind of method by which we would try the case, and we, the managers and myself, were told, "Look we're just trying to keep you from embarrassing yourselves." I mean, this is after a vote of the House of Representatives impeaching the President. In that same meeting one of the senators -- and because I do not know which one it was, I will not name any of the senators -- turned to Henry Hyde and he said, "Henry, I don't care. No way are you going to get 67 votes." This was before anything had occurred on the floor of the Senate. And Henry Hyde said, "Well, you know Senator, we have other materials over there in that room that were furnished by Mr. Starr and I think that some of them may have to do with assaults or things like that. And the senator said, "Henry" -- this is a direct quote -- "I don't care if you have proof that he raped a woman, stood up and shot her dead, you're still not going to get 67 votes." At that point I raised my hand and I said, "Senator, are you telling me I just watched a hundred senators raise their right hand to God and swear to do equal and impartial justice and that they will ignore that oath too?" And the senator said, "You're darn right they are." From that moment on I knew that we were in a rigged ball game. In Chicago we'd refer to it as a First Ward election. David Schippers further complained about an obstruction of the impeachment effort by the Justice Department itself: SCHIPPERS: The FBI at every stage of the investigation -- at every stage of oversight, impeachment, or anything else -- gave us nothing but 100% full cooperation from the bureau. The problems always came between the bureau and us because interposed between us was the Justice Department, and they were not about to give up anything that might embarrass the President or the Administration. -Caveat Lector- Via NewsMax.CoM Sovereignty Matters Oliver NorthJune 18, 1999 WASHINGTON -- Tony Blair, Bill Clinton's new best buddy, was shocked. The June European Parliamentary elections seem to have rejected the vaunted "Third Way" globalists in the Blair government. The conservative Tories overwhelmed Blair's hand-picked Labor Party liberals by a margin of 36 percent to 28 percent. This victory is all the more significant when you consider that the Labor Party has dominated the political landscape of Great Britain since it came to power in April 1997. In fact, as Brits went to the polls this month, Tony Blair's approval ratings had never been higher, thanks to his "leadership" in NATO's Balkan Blunder. But Blair's personal popularity wasn't enough to save the day when it came to standing up for the Union Jack. For the first time since Margaret Thatcher sent the fleet to win back the Falkland Islands in 1981, British sovereignty is a major issue in British politics. This conservative resurgence is based on the simple premise that national identity, autonomy and independence are more important than the New World Order policies Tony Blair has been espousing since he and his liberal Laborites came to power. Whether this sea change in British politics will affect their next elections or ours remains to be seen. "Third Way" proponents poo-poo the results as nothing more than a minor wrinkle in the political fabric. They note that this was nothing but an election for delegates to the European Parliament -- the body theoretically charged with administering the European Union. While the liberals have been quick to blame their dismal showing in the parliamentary elections on Tory leader William Hague's "Euro-bashing," the real issue was whether Britain would retain its own identity and sovereignty, or whether Brits would wake up one morning in a "Europe First" society. As Hague bluntly put it when discussing Britain's ties to the rest of Europe, "In Europe -- but not run by Europe." What Blair's apologists do not want to acknowledge is that many Brits are coming to see this conglomeration of Eurocrats as an entity whose activities and interests are hostile to the people of the British Isles. Among the chief goals of the European Union is the establishment of a common currency, the Euro, which would replace the currencies of all of the European Union member states. Unfortunately for Tony Blair and his globalist allies, a majority of Brits don't seem ready to surrender the British Pound. Why? Because when Great Britain abandons the Pound it gives up a significant measure of their national identity. The British people have yet to become convinced that handing over their sovereignty to a group of continental bureaucrats best known for petty wrangling, gross incompetence, and rampant corruption is really in their best interests. The choice the Brits face is tantamount to Bill Clinton telling Americans that George Washington was being replaced on the dollar bill by Kofi Annan. In the U.S., talk of a Continental Currency for the Americas has been forestalled by the early start of the year 2000 presidential election campaigns. Advocates for such a measure in the Clinton Administration have been told to pipe down until after the race is run -- because their internal polls show that most American's find the idea deplorable. But similar threats do indeed lurk on our own horizons, and if Washington's globalists have their way, Americans will indeed face the choice between Mr. Clinton's vision of a "New World Village" or a reassertion of our own national sovereignty. One election does not make a trend. The recent balloting for a Euro Parliament may or may not portend the kind of dramatic change in political fortunes that Margaret Thatcher's election foretold when she and her Conservative majority came to power in 1979. Thatcher's rise to power was indeed the beginning of a conservative movement throughout many Western nations. But for more than six years now, Bill Clinton and his fellow "internationalist elites" have been telling us that their "Third Way" is the way of the future. They have told us that "globalism" is better than nationalism, that "constructive engagement" is more important than national security, and that international cooperation outweighs America's sovereignty. To the Clintons, Blairs and the rest of the globalist gurus haunting Europe, borders don't matter. But to the rest of us, they do. Sherman Skolnick and John Whitley referred to the sinking of the SS Gonzales - I hope that is the correct spelling. For your information this would appear to be not the case. An email I received from a chap called xxx states (in reply to questions on Gonzales and Roosevelt): "I cannot say anything certain about the Roosevelt, but the USS Gonzales returned back to the US heavily damaged. NATO and Jugoslav losses are itemised. According to official Jugoslav sources NATO has lost 128 aircraft, 14 helicopters, and 60 UAVs. Information I have suggests that the destroyer was hit by one or more American-made AGM-65 Maverick anti-armor missile, which is carried by Yugoslav IJ-22 Orao ground strike aircraft. There was a secondary explosion(s) of the ammunition onboard the USS Gonzales, resulting in a massive damage to the ship's superstructure. If I am not mistaken, US 6th Fleet's press service announced that the Gonzales left for the US for repairs. About the USS Theodore Roosevelt carrier, I have the following information, which was circulated in Serbian communities in Australia: "The information about USS Theodore Roosevelt is quite true. The carrier was attacked by a group of Yugoslavian fighters and it was seriously damaged. Most of the aircraft on the upper deck were destroyed and the carrier is out of operation since early May. Bert Walker was known as the midwest's premier deal-arranger, awarding the investment capital of his international-banker contacts to the many railroads, utilities and other midwestern industries of which he and his St. Louis friends were executives or board members. Walker's operations were always quiet, or mysterious, whether in local or global affairs. He had long been the "power behind the throne" in the St. Louis Democratic Party, along with his crony, former Missouri Governor David R. Francis. Walker and Francis together had sufficient influence to select the party's candidates.[11] Back in 1904, Bert Walker, David Francis, Washington University President Robert Brookings and their banker/broker circle had organized a world's fair in St. Louis, the Louisiana Purchase Exposition. McGee. So Averell Harriman was a natural patron for Bert Walker. The First World War had brought the little St. Louis oligarchy into the Confederate-slaveowner-oriented administration of President Woodrow Wilson and his advisors, Col. Edward House and Bernard Baruch. Walker's friend Robert Brookings got into Bernard Baruch's War Industries Board as director of national Price Fixing (sic). David R. Francis became U.S. ambassador to Russia in 1916. As the Bolshevik Revolution broke out, we find Bert Walker busy appointing people to Francis's staff in Petrograd.[12] Walker's earliest activities in relation to the Soviet state are of significant interest to historians, given the activist role he was to play there together with Harriman. The order comes amid mounting pressure in the federal government over allegations of Chinese espionage at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, which is managed by the university under a contract with the U.S. Department of Energy. Los Alamos, near Santa Fe, New Mexico, is where the atomic bomb was developed and where many nuclear secrets are stored. The university also manages the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory east of San Francisco and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, which does some unclassified research. Although the government sets security policy at the labs, university officials help enforce the rules. In a directive announced Friday, Atkinson called on a panel of experts to review the new security rules ``to make sure the university is doing everything possible to maintain the vital security interests of the United States,'' The Times said. The U.S. House of Representatives and President Clinton's own Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board have suggested fining the university -- or other lab managers -- for future security violations, the Times said. The U.S. General Accounting Office also is advocating that the energy department end the university's 50-year-old hold on running the labs when its contract expires in 2002. Congress has been in an uproar over allegations that China stole U.S. secrets on seven nuclear warheads and the neutron bomb over the past 20 years. Kennedy to the United States Sunday, the White House said. The documents, declassified after a Russian review of government, military and private archives, could shed light on Kennedy's assassin Lee Harvey Oswald, who lived in the former Soviet Union during the late 1950s and early 1960s. Oswald shot Kennedy in Dallas, Texas on Nov. 22, 1963. Russian President Boris Yeltsin gave the documents to President Clinton as they met in Cologne, Germany for talks to repair relations badly frayed by the Kosovo war. U.S. National Security Adviser Sandy Berger, describing the documents as ``a very interesting gift,'' said they were the result of an extensive search of Russian archives ordered by Yeltsin years ago. ``He had asked all of the agencies of the Russian government to declassify any and all material related to President Kennedy, and President Kennedy's assassination, both military and civilian archives as well as private archives,'' Berger told reporters after the meeting. THUS, for someone to believe that Jesus is Lord and the Son of God, and have faith in him is all well and good, but it cannot be based upon the historical FACT of the New Testament which is just a bunch of stories (however true they may be is something that we cannot PROVE). Modeled on the older Religious Freedom Restoration Act, or RFRA, the RLPA enjoys broad support throughout America's religious community; there is a growing coalition of other organizations, though, including American Atheists, which have expressed concerns the measure could on everything from civil rights and state-church separation to the application of zoning, environment and land-use regulations. The House Judiciary Committee plans a markup on its version of RLPA around midweek; and at the other end of the hill, the Senate Judiciary Committee may hold another "quickie hearing" which critics say will likely again be stacked to hear testimony mostly from groups and others supporting the proposed act. At earlier hearings, panels were usually heavily weighted with spokespersons who defended the need for the Religious Liberty Protection Act, leading critics of the measure to charge that congress was promoting a "stealth agenda" to smuggle the issue past public scrutiny. American Atheists President Ellen Johnson reported that she will be in Washington, D.C. this week for any RLPA-related hearings, and intends to present the Senate Judiciary Committee with letters from Atheists and other separationists who are opposed to the act. "We've mailed out thousands of letters to our members and supporters in recent weeks, and we're asking them to let both the House and Senate hear from them on this important First Amendment issue." She added that a recent mailing, along with a new "Let The SJC Hear From You!" campaign on the internet, will hopefully generate a large quantity of letters which Johnson will personally present to the Senate Judiciary Committee." Dr. Marci Hamilton, a constitutional scholar and lead attorney in the historic U.S. Supreme Court case that struck down the old Religious Freedom Restoration Act, said that judiciary committees in both the House and Senate were "stacking the panels" with biased witnesses, and often gave little advance notice when holding hearings. "They want RLPA to be a 'done deal,'" Hamilton told AANEWS. "They don't even have to announce the fact that they are having public hearings until 48-hours before they actually take place." Hamilton noted that she is often asked to testify "as the token witness opposing the Religious Liberty Protection Act." Last week's meeting in the House Judiciary Committee saw a round of proposed amendments to weaken the RLPA fall short. Rep. Jerrold Nadler suggested that RLPA include language so that it could not be used to trump the nation's anti-discrimination laws. -Caveat Lector- From NewAustralian Switzerland: Europe's gun centre where kids don't kill kids By Gerard Jackson No. 124, 21-27 June 1999 The Littleton killings have once again brought into the spotlight America's alleged love affair with guns and its violent nature. Horror story after horror story is wheeled out to demonstrate this 'fact'. Statistic after statistic is faithfully recited to convince people that the horrors would go away if only guns were banned. According to this mantra, guns are the real evil, as if they were some kind of voodoo curse. Because of this malignant force, according to Cameron Forbes, American "teenagers plot to remedy slights by blowing away fellow students with Tec-9s" (Guns: why the US can't bite the bullet, The Australian 15/6). Ergo, remove the evil and the killings will cease. But is it really so? Are guns the real culprit? What the likes of Forbes never tell their readers is that America's crime rate, and in particular its murder rate, were much lower when access to guns was much easier. But let us go abroad to test the thesis that the root of the evil is easy access to guns. If this were so then Switzerland should be a war zone. In this country every male between aged 20 to 42 is required by law to to keep firearms, including pistols, at home; every reserve keeps his assault rifle at home and every soldier take his rifle home. Moreover, once a soldier retires he is entitled to keep his weapon, whether it be a rifle or a pistol. Not only that, but ordinary citizens are even allowed to buy military assault rifles. In short, Mr Forbes, virtually every Swiss home is armed and not with peashooters thus giving the Swiss citizenry more firepower than its American counterpart. It was the Swiss' passion for guns only matched by their determination to keep their liberty that helped keep the Nazi war machine at bay. When the Swiss government thought a Nazi invasion was imminent it ordered every able bodied man to stand by his post and defend it to the last round. Their determination to defend their liberties plus their shooting skills and the sheer quantity of weapons at their disposal combined with the nature of the terrain persuaded the Nazis that an invasion of Switzerland was not worth the cost. While other countries have tennis courts, golf courses, football pitches aplenty the Swiss have shooting ranges. And Swiss shooters carry their guns in the open as freely as golfers carry their clubs. Shooting festivals and contests are a frequent and popular and children are encouraged to participate. Once again, what strikes visitors about these events is the casual way weapons are carried through the streets and on public transport. In restaurants and coffee shops tourists sometimes find themselves competing with guns for places to hang their coats. Naturally there is an ample supply of gun shops to service the country's love affair with shooting. Yet where is the crime wave? The school shootings? The nightly murders? A colleague kindly supplied me with the following facts: In 1997 Switzerland recorded only 87 premeditated murders and 102 murder attempts. The interesting thing is that only 91 of these offences involved a gun, though out of a total of 2,498 robberies and attempted robberies 546 involved the use of guns. Of particular interest is that nearly 50 per cent of these offences were committed by foreigners. Compare Switzerland's murder rate of 1.2 per 100,000 with Britain's rate of 1.4 per 100,000. Their respective robbery rates are 36 per 100,000 and 116 per 100,000 and bear in mind foreigners committed nearly half of Switzerland's robberies. The contrast between the two countries is particularly striking when we consider that Britain's gun laws are draconian compared with Switzerland's. None of this is intended to promote gun ownership but only to demonstrate as facile, if not fatuous, the view held by the likes of Forbes that guns are the real problem in America. People who are determined to kill will do so, unfortunately. And if they are resolved to use guns as the means to commit murder then they will do that too. I cannot help but think that what are now called subcultures in America are largely the nihilistic product of more than 30 years of successful cultural warfare by liberalism against America's basic standards of decency. The kind of standards that so many Australian journalists (and American ones too) find so odious. In truth, I cannot say much more than I have already but I shall once again repeat myself: American security has been shattered. Chinese officials have privately bragged about the extent of their penetration, their placing of agents, their successful use of bribery and blackmail. I have heard stories that I would never repeat, though I know them to be true, because many readers would consider them fantastic. But would they be any more fantastic than a president selling his country's secrets to a potential enemy? And yet this is exactly what Clinton has done. To gain some grasp of the danger in which Clinton may very well have put America one only needs to read the Cox Report. As for Bill Clinton, I personally believe he is capable of anything, a view shared by Chinese officials who also hold him in the greatest contempt. He is not only considered treacherous but unstable. A man completely incapable of seeing beyond tomorrow. This goes someway, in Chinese eyes, of understanding his motives. I pointed out in another article that Beijing has a profile of every member of Congress and the Senate. The interesting thing is that Clinton's file goes back, so I have been told, to his student days. This information is particularly interesting because it is clearly impossible for any intelligence agency, especially a foreign one, to determine which students will always make a career out of politics. So this raises an important question: why did Chinese intelligence show an early interest in Clinton? I'm not suggesting that Clinton was involved with Chinese intelligence from when he was a student only that it was aware of what I shall call his potential. Clearly something or someone, and I'm not referring to the Russians, alerted them. Who or what has not been revealed. There is no doubt whatsoever that when Clinton became politically active Chinese intelligence in his potential was renewed and steps were taken at a very early stage in his career to cultivate a presence through third parties with well-known Asian connections. To my knowledge this has never been done with any other American politician but Beijing felt confident enough to do it with Clinton. Why? Even the densest politician would have smelt a rat so why the confidence? The key to the puzzle lies in his psychological profile. My understanding is that Chinese intelligence concluded that Clinton is bereft of any kind of morality or cultural moorings and that he is totally absorbed; a man for whom the only thing that counts is what promotes his interest regardless of the cost to others, including the nation; a man with no sense of honour, integrity or loyalty but an uncanny ability to convey the opposite feelings. It was early evidence of this ability plus his thuggishness in pursuit of his own ambitions that finally convinced Beijing that he was a political winner. Beijing knew what many still cannot see. Clinton sees the presidency as a mere trophy, a kind of political Oscar. Everything he does is geared to winning and keeping that Oscar. Curiously enough, it this destructive ambition destructive to America, that is leaves him as a Democrat. Now Clinton is a genuine political thug and these type of thugs are attracted to politics because of the power it gives them. Therefore when they gain power they do what they can to accumulate even more. This is why the likes of Clinton are not to be found in political parties that preach small government, the need for low taxation and the virtues of patriotism.[1] No wonder it was child's play for Beijing to manipulate Clinton. It was like bribing a child with sweets. All said and done, Clinton wilfully betrayed his country. To call Clinton a Judas would be to insult Judas whose shame led him to commit suicide. Clinton is not a flawed man, as some would have it, he is a deeply corrupt and very dangerous man. As I said, there are stories I could never repeat though I do not doubt their veracity for a moment.
