The last netgen Debian packaging isn't too old, from last November. Is
there good reason to package a newer version? Does it fix bugs, does
it add significant functionality?
This is a new stable upstream release since almost 5 years. They've
changed to the GNU autotools for compilation.
. But maybe you can get my debian source package from launchpad and test
it under debian as well.

network services which are needed by other computers these services are
done (e.g. yp )...

to workaround the bug reported it would be sufficient to remove the
down-skript from the ifenslave-2.6 package:
rm /etc/network/if-down.d/ifenslave
Then ifdown -a would down the bond-interfaces the usual way, which is

I've seen that problem as well. It seems that the libraries are not in
the KDE search path on my system; instead of being placed under
/usr/lib/kde3 , the libs are placed under /usr/lib/ktranslator/kde3/ .
