You can fix this by adding a "d/pybuild.testsuites" file containing

also moved the default branch from `master` to

PS: I'm not planning on maintaining this package btw, this really was a
one-off. New versions should be easy to update, since all the deps are
now in Sid :)

't prevent future errors from popping up and doesn't make
maintainers aware of their errors (so they can learn from it).
I think the "perfect" solution would be to have an automated tool (aka
janitor) fixing these automatically, but this would require more work.

Is there a reason why we shouldn't just file bugs in the BTS? I get it's
not the perfect tool for that, but it would certainly help reach the
maintainers.
Using a common usertag would also make it easier to find and fix these
issues en masse ;)

esn't seem like there's a VCS though, so
that might require some work on your side.
If you want, I'd also be happy to take over and maintain it in the

Could this become part of the Debian Janitor at some point?
I could see teams adding a per-team config file to check things like
Hello!
Grammalecte was rejected. It would be nice if you could fix the issue

Good catch. FWIW, I've opened a feature request on Lintian to try to
catch those kind of errors [1].
[1]: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/b
e of this package.
The "Maintainer" field currently reads
Maintainer: Debian Python Team
It should be
Maintainer: Debian Python Team
I thought there was a lintian tag for that, but there is none. I'll put
that on my TODO.

This package has not been updated on Salsa, or at least, I couldn't find
version 1.7.0-1 anywhere. Maybe you forgot to push?
I'm getting test failures on tests/inspecti
te when it exists (I'm planning on writing a policy
proposal saying this after the freeze). If PyPi releases include them, I
think it's fine (but they often don't).

Hey folks,
The deadline to submit talks for DebConf21 is June 20th and I was
thinking it would be a good idea to have a Python BoF, as we always do.
Anyone opposed to the idea?

Hi!
If you intend to maintain the package in the Team, you need to follow this
procedure:
