after a very short and helpful conversation with the gnome-keyring
developers this problem is now resolved.
The problem is that the way gnome-keyring checks for public/private keys
has changed.
The old process used to check for ~/.ssh/id_?sa
now it checks for a matching public key in a *.pub
this bug is now resolved and closed.

Pretty much the same happens on my HP pavilion dv6 1280-us with Ubuntu 10.10.
However, nautilus or anything else doesn't crash, the pictures on the card are
just corrupted. The reader worked fine with 10.04.

In a way: Good to hear, because if they loose emails (objects in my
terminology) its because they do not know how many email objects that
the containers (e.g. files) hold. A inconsistency is then that the
number of actual emails in a folder, including deleted ones, then
subtract the number

My rhythmbox has exactly the same bug on two different laptops: the
other is Ubuntu 10.04 LTS desktop and the other Ubuntu 10.04 LTS netbook
edition. Both are up-to-date and rather new installs (the netbook is
less than one day since I installed it).

I can confirm that in mine configuration (Dell Precision M4440, 8 GB

Firefox cached my default mailto application as a preference. I
further did not notice, after clicking on mailto links, that the mail
composition client window was Evolution (not Thunderbird).

I had the same problem: empty preview in window and empty printout on a
physical printer with GIMP and Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat.
I can confirm that the above mentioned Dave's PPA provides solution.

This is still happening in 10.10; updated dmesg from initial crash, and
gdb backtrace from one that occured on next run attached, noting symbols
for some related libraries missing. Its random in that it is not easily
reproduced as it happens on startup.

Glad I have a new shortcut in my arsenal, Alt+Middle button to resize
windows. But, I have to confess that after a few days on Maverick, I
find this losing the ability to (easily) resize the window by dragging
the corner somewhat annoying. I feel that this is one of these 1000
papercuts type
I can confirm this happening on an HP DV5 1132la when pressing the
touchpad enabla/disable button.
gconftool --type bool --set
/desktop/gnome/peripherals/touchpad/touchpad_enabled true does not work
in Ubuntu 10.10 final!!! HELP!!

When i listen music, especially mp3, sometimes the system does not work
anymore and the music is still playing but all windows are blocked and i
can use only the right button in the mouse. The only one solution is to
restart the machine typing
