Thank you for the link, it explains why it is disabled but it is not
true that we can enable it using xinput or xorg.conf because every time
gnome-settings-daemon starts it disable three-touch again. Also, when
system came back from suspend it also disable again three-touch.
So, I understand the

supported by Canonical. Do not expect someone from them to fix this bug.

The banner at the top of Software Centre has two buttons for skipping
back and forth through the banner ads. The arrows in these buttons are
off centre and are thus irritating my OCD gland. See zoomed-in
screenshot with added vertical line to show the problem more clearly.

Window placement is the job of the window manager. I *like* my windows in the
corner; if you want yours elsewhere, fix your window manager placement
algorithm.
