Ubuntu will recognise my terratec card out of the box and is listed as
such using lsusb:

- Just try to watch an mp4 video in totem, then disks start spinning, unity
freezed, mouse working, switched to tty to see what happens, noted that it was
wasting resource to searching for a new version (of what?), then disk spin go

I am getting incorrect colors on Canon PIXMA MP240 with CUPS 1.5.3-0ubuntu6 +
gutenprint v5.2.8-pre1.
The print is yellowish and has high contrast (missing dark shades of colors). I
am using Kubuntu 12.04 Precise with color management enabled for the
monitor. No printer

I think this was fixed at some point of time but I forgot to close this
bug. Even if it wasn't fixed I don't have access to the hardware anyway.

[RV530 x1650] Black screen
I did a temporal workaround.
sudo mv /home/shakaran /home/shakaran-backup
sudo mkdir shakaran
sudo chown shakaran.shakaran /home/shakaran
sudo chmod 701 /home/shakaran
Now I can login and I am copying some config folder in home for work
again. But this needs to be fixed, almost for normal users
