If I click the - button in the printer setup tool the selected printer
gets immediately removed, without any confirmation pop-up.
One can easily remove the wrong printer or easily click - instead of
+, so it happens easily that one accidentally removes a print queue.

Juan, I tested your workaround on my Ubuntu 12.10 netbook and it
corrected the problem. It's certainly doesn't actually fix the
problem, but it allows everything to work normally in the meantime.

Try this. Edit the connection using the Connection Editor and set IPv4
Settings | Method to Automatic (DHCP) addresses only instead of
Automatic (DHCP). Make sure 8.8.8.8 is still included in the
Additional DNS servers field.
Another thing to try is to disable the local forwarding nameserver.

Perhaps xserver reading xorg.conf adds just enough delay to resolve the
race condition. So my bet is that what's in your xorg.conf doesn't
actually matter. Try putting a 1 sec sleep into your lightdm config as
described in the above bug and remove your xorg.conf, and I bet it'll
work then too.
I'd mention it in the changelog when doing the change but we should indeed
include a comment in the file for both lxc and libvirt.
I see that network-manager's own file already has a comment indicating what the
file is for and that removing it or the package will revert that change in

Using nautilus there is the possibility of files loss during a cut and past
operation in which the destiny is for example an external drive that gets
accidentally disconnected during operation, nautilus erases the files from the
source when they are still not yet fully
I was having this problem on Quantal, which led me to this issue. But it
turned out that there was an open dialog from an earlier backup, hidden
behind other windows, complaining about being unable to read some
directories. I dismissed the dialog and restarted the restore; it works.

with opening / finding open LibreOffice documents in Unity. The issue

LibreOffice, on any workspace, then clicking on the file in the file
