Since upgrading from Kubuntu 12.10 to 13.04, scrolling in Firefox
sometimes shows glitches. Most of the time too short lived to make a
screendump, but I managed once. The glitching appears while scrolling
but is intermittent.

for Ubuntu. This worked on release of Ubuntu 13.04 but an update in the
following days broke it. I don't know which update, however.

Oh, an sdvo lvds output. That explains a lot (dmesg with debug output was

Oh, I've looked a bit harder and noticed that thing are pretty neatly
screwed up in sdvo land. So not something I can fix in 1-2 easy patches.
And since sdvo isn't a high prio thing for us I've postponed this for
now.

When right clicking on a title bar of that window and selecting Move to
another workspace Workspace [number]
it doesn't work. I expected this command to work in any way.

[Nexus7] Xorg crashed with SIGSEGV in __memcpy_ssse3_rep (from
Seeing as 13.04 is officially released I uninstalled the oem-audio-hda-
daily-dkms_0.201304220024~raring1_all.deb pacakage as recommended. Sound
has now disappeared.
So this is a critical bug for my setup - the latest alsa drivers should
become the default (oem-audio-hda-daily-

I would also like to see the keyboard backlight and any additional
lights turned off. No reason for those things draining the battery after
the user locks the keyboard.

1.) playing with Audacious/ALSA ; volume set to 100%
2.) switching to pulseaudio ; volume set automatically to ~70%
