UPDATE:
I wanted to try out installing 18.04.1
After having the live mode started and opening the menu my laptop shutted down
suddenly and it is hot now.
Also it somehow messing up the fan. I have to restart from Windows to have it
sound and work fine.
Windows is running like charm, no
affected on Ubuntu bionic

work (that's in Ubuntu 18.04)

Dear package maintainers,
as you see, 'epkowa' and some other Epson backends are clearly mispackaged.
Also, Epson USB device permissions should be set properly by udev
Let's see if this problem does have any chances to be fixed in Ubuntu 18.04
before 20.04 is released
