Ocassionally the display shows pic only as a portion with bottom portion
grey-out as shown in attached.

I deleted all the contents of dropbox backup file
restarted and it functioned without apparent error.
I did not, as you suggested, choose only a small file for backup, so ended up
vol 399.
Running again today after startup no apparent errors.

driver from the CUPS menu during the install process by trial and error with
lots of others because the offered/recommended 7045 driver did not work.
I don't know how to direct or answer you further.

Brlaser driver installed and printer install offered 7065 chosen and working
successfully.

Yes Thanks the problem was resolved. It just took a little more digging on the
net . and did reinstall via HPlLIP found on the net. Result: HPLIP toolbox
which contained Install required plugin and that got things rolling,ie called
for a couple of more steps including reboot.

progress to the point of a total machine lock-up, making a mechanical
reboot necessary. after reboot apport has cranked up and sent in
apport information

I have a problem with convert to read.
As soon as I click to highlight a mail piece it changes to read Past tense
I've not been able to find a setting to change this
I recall there used to be a setting set to read after seconds
There seems to be no mention of this in Help.

One one folder only the preview pane is not present; cannot be grabbed and
slid. Simply is not present.
Happens on only one folder.
removed a bunch of mail items thinking it might reveal a border, but no joy,
just an empty space below.

I suspect this bug may affect me. Same machine
Corruption of screen is only occasional.
with horizontal lines of black upside down reversed text which is usually from
header bar.
Also Unity task bar is affected.
