Thank you for your bug report, the fedora bug suggests it's fixed in the
current ibus version and I can confirm here on raring that the strace
command shows no constant polling

I have a similar problem. I use LVM and I have several logical volumes
with Ubuntu chroots and LXCs:

I've looked into this one a little more.
The problem is with the code in libnautilus-private/nautilius-file-utilities.c
the function nautilus_restore_files_from_trash()
uses nautilus_file_operations_move()
This moves the files from the trash directory back to the path stored in Trash
