When I drop some text from other application, nautilus (v. 1:3.8.2-0ubuntu2.1)
crashes silently, and the second application freezes a bit if it checks whether

I have a fresh Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS installation and at first everything

I think I'm suffering from the same problem. I have the same machine
(including graphics card) and the OS says it has to run in low graphics
mode. When I try to run in that mode, it sends me to the terminal. If I
choose recovery mode, then bail out and choose resume normal boot,
then it does load
In this case, there are two DACs, and DAC 0x03 is mono. In order
to make headphones and front speaker use DAC 0x02, and subwoofer use
DAC 0x03, we artificially cut the connection from nodes 0x14 and 0x15
to node 0x03, so they can only use DAC 0x02.
In addition, the 5460 and 5470 differs in the
nvidia-prime 0.5.2 should fix at least use case 1 i.e. the single
graphics card use case. It still won't work with hybrid graphics but at
least gdm and kdm users won't be forced to install lightdm if they
install the nvidia driver.

Incorrect handling of orientation when printing PDF files

Eclipse menus don't show up in Ubuntu 13.10, when I click on any menus in
Eclipse (Help, Window, Run) they don’t show up. Only menu stubs and selection
are visible. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but did not work.

FWIW, in future I find it easier to work with a debdiff between the
Debian and Ubuntu versions - in this case between 3.10.1-1 and
3.10.3-ubuntu1.
