After installing a fresh copy of the new Ubuntu Mate 18.04 LTS, I'm not
able to start the Pcbnew. In the console it throws the following error:
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
I'm able to view footprints and 3D models in CvPcb.
Before installing the new Ubuntu Mate,
I think this was fixed long time ago. Can someone please confirm that?

Got the same problem on 16.04. It seems the issue was caused by Unity upgrade
to 7.4.5.
I manually downgraded it to 7.4.0 and the issue was gone:

I just see no alternatives for mesa: Info: the current alternatives in use are:
['nvidia-367', 'nvidia-367']
Reintalling mesa didn't help for me.

Mouse cursor does not flicker with MATEs Marco window manager on 1st and
2nd monitors. Also it feels like there is no more cursor lag (perhaps
very slight) on the 3rd monitor (connected with DisplayLink) I have one
