Hi,
I'd like to request a patch for Cloudstack-2188 for ACS 4.1.1.
The master commit was e56d2a401c40b4208d062c0a0ce1ec01df73dd08, but it appears
the code has been greatly re-factored since 4.1 was originally branched.
This NPE appears to be causing a memory leak in our production environment

All,
As most know, the upgrade from 4.0 to 4.1 changed the interface naming schema.
When a host in a cluster is rebooted, the interface naming changes. When this
occurs, live migration breaks to that host.
Example config:
All Management and hosts running CS 4.1.1
Hypervisor: KVM on RHEL 6.3
s (or reboot the host), and then start things back up.
This really should have been documented in the release notes. I think
it was a misunderstanding that the upgrade process would require
everything be restarted.

That is an old limit that I believe has been raised for new installs. With the

It will very much depend on your hardware, but I believe rhel7 doesn't publish

Hey Andrija,
So it sounds like your primary storage isn't enforcing an exclusive lock. How
is your storage exposed to ACS?
We've found that HA doesn't work at all with a host failure on KVM, as those
VMs will never be restarted until the host is either recovered, or the host is
removed from
Andrija,
We pushed quite a few PRs on the exception and lockup issues related to Ceph in
the agent.
We have a PR for the deletion issue. See if you have it pulled into your
release - https://github.com/myENA/cloudstack/pull/9

On KVM, selecting the "Windows PV" OS type will work fine with Windows Server
2016. Might be worth trying on vmware.

Glen,
This feature was implemented in 4.9 by my colleague Nathan Johnson. You enable
it by changing the global setting snapshot.backup.rightafter to false.
The PR is reference here: https://github.com/apache/cloudstack/pull/1697
We have the exact same use case as you, as we also use Ceph.
