Verification looks good (NetBeans IDE artifacts):
- Verified sha512 sum and signature
- Checked that source code is identical to git tag
- Builds cleanly on JDK 8
- the diffs between my build and the provided binaries are expected
- binary build runs on JDK 8
- nbjavac is

Hi Lars,
I don't see a reasonable way to do what you describe. The code is
GPLv2+CDDL (to my knowledge), the content of the repositories owned by
Oracle. Only the donation files can be relicensed to ALv2 and thus are
eligable for integration/redistribution.
The message from the ASF to my
Hi John, hi Eirik,
looking at the properties of the X window I don't see why the quality
gets better after the change:
Running xprop on the netbeans window gives me _NET_WM_ICON sizes:
16x16
32x32
48x48
128x128
a quick search in the JDK source gives this (on Unix):
JFrame#setIconImages

Hi,
I see the Maven implementation as the correct one (this is a copy of the
reasoning in the PR):

My scenario I tested:
- I create a project `library` (just a `DemoLib` class with a `dummyMethod`)
- I `maven -Prelease-profile install`ed version `1.0`, `2.0` and `3.0-SNAPSHOT`
Before this is merged one crucial point: The new files must be verifiable come
from the donation zip. If that is not the case we will not be able to establish
correct license handling.

Hi,
the following is my personal subjective reaction to seeing a few recent
issues: It looks as if people stop thinking when using jira. Jira is
perfectly capable to handle attachments, yet people just blindly paste
the gestures and message log into the description.
This brings Jira to a crawl
