Hi,
I wonder if anyone has tried to implement a DataStore with SFTP
backend. I know there is S3DataStore already, but in some cases, SFTP
might be more proper than S3 for some reasons. And it can be more
cost-effective than shared disk-based solution with FSDataStore in
specific cases.
If there's
once it's accepted/merged. e.g, sftp,
hdfs, etc.

Hi Julian,
Don't know the cause exactly, but looks like the maven-release-plugin
2.1 might be incompatible with your maven version. What's your maven
version (`mvn -v`)?
Also, maven-release-plugin 2.1 is a bit older version. [1]
So, could you try with the latest version like the following instead?

Downloads were successful from
https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/jackrabbit/2.13.0/.
Each artifact were well verified with PGP signatures.
I was able to test/build v2.13.0 successfully from the downloaded
source zip file.
The RELEASE-NOTES.txt looks good.

Hi JR team,
Could someone take a review my contribution with JCR-3975?

It is about Apache Commons VFS2 based DataStore implementation. My

Hi Clay,
Thanks!
Regarding "a way to have filesystems appears as JCR-exposed content

implementation. A DataStore is responsible for storing/reading binary
value data only when the size of a binary value data is bigger than a
threshold size

Hi,
I noticed that CachingDataStore#getRecord() always invokes

Hi,
Could someone consider reviewing/merging

It is actually a very simple bug (of
o.a.j.core.security.authorization.GlobPattern#equals()) and
reproducible through the unit test provided by the pull request.

Hi,
I guess you guys have noticed the issue: The populate page [1] doesn't
work if you run the standalone on Java 1.8. [2]
It looks like the old Eclipse JDT compiler used by Jasper engine is
not capable of doing its job on Java 1.8. Unless upgrading Jetty or
replacing it by an embedded tomcat, it

Hi folks,
I'd like to just share my experiments about DataStore migration (e.g,
from DbDataStore to File/VFS/S3DataStore). And I'm just wondering if
there's anyone interested in this tool in the community because I see
some migration related efforts (e.g, from file cache to S3 backend) in

Hi,
Could someone review my PR in JCR-4007?
As explained in its javadoc,
org.apache.jackrabbit.core.gc.GarbageCollector is supposed to 'mark',
'sweep' and finally 'close' a collection cycle. So, before it starts,
it updates the timestamp through

Hi,
I just wanted to report a minor documentation error. The example

Hi,
I notice that LOCAL_REVISIONS table [1] is created without a unique
index even if the JOURNAL_ID seems to be used as a primary key in
org.apache.jackrabbit.core.journal.DatabaseJournal.
Is there any reason behind?
Thanks in advance,

I can perhaps add the following section at the bottom of the page, for example:

Hi,
I've submitted a PR to fix a minor improvement issue
(https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCR-4369) in S3DataStore.
Simply put, it's about aborting the input stream whenever just closing
it without consuming the data as AWS S3 SDK recommends it with a
warning log.
Please see my PR comment in
