I have SoftSqueeze installed at work, when I install from my SlimServer
webpage the installer reports Softsqueeze 2.0b3. When I run
SoftSqueeze the prefferences pane reports version 2.0a16. Have
uninstalled SoftSqueeze, cleared the cache, is this an error in
SoftSqueeze or my installation?
Setting it to 0 doesn't disable the scan in case anyone was wondering.
What's the --noscan parameter supposed to do ?
It certainly doesn't stop the initial scan.

SoftSqueeze boxen. These are being put into custom Mahogany cases that

Both my server and my router are online 24/7. The wierd thing is that
the clock on the SB2 was progressing but instead of taking one second
to advance one second it took more like 5 seconds. Very strange.

I've tried downloading the latest (2.0b3) version both from the Slimserver
Softsqueeze page and the Sourceforge webpage, and the install seems to work,
though when I click on the properties in Softsqueeze it says it's version
2.0b2. The problem seems to be with AAC rather than MP3 files.

and checkboxes.
In Browse Albums there's no artist listed. I don't know about you, but

Hi everyone,
I have just added a wired Squeezebox2 to my other 3 Squeezeboxes, and
updated the firmware on all of them.
The Sound from the Squeezebox 2 is fantastic!
However I am now experiencing problems with the software:
Slimserver now most often works at slow and eratic pace on all units.
Only one processor. I'm away from home tonight; will do logs as requested
when I get home tomorrow...

Plus, the real competitive
A pony might be easier but..how about a portable player with limited
local storage (big buffer/cache) and a 3G or better celular connection
to stream from slimserver. Service charges might kill you that would
truly be a portable squeezebox. The worlds first celular streaming MP3
