You could set up your work pc to handle the ssh tunnel. The squeezebox
could then connect to the work pc, which would forward the requests
over an ssh tunnel. I think putty can do this if you're stuck with
windows.

To make a small correction to what's below, you do not have to read the
same sector from every other drive to write to one drive. You
only have to read the sector you are writing to and the
corresponding parity sector. So, there's still a penalty, but not
as large as what's suggested below.On

Sure I had the same problem. You are correct in suspecting the boot
order, it is the problem. By default it boots off of the 32M
DiskOnChip. I believe it is just F2 to access the bios, else it is one
of the standards (del, f1, alt+f1).

the router is set to 108Mbps static or automatic. It doe works great
on standard g mode but since you have to set the whole router to

Actually the default behavior of mp3gain as I mentioned should
do exactly what you want. It will calculate and add tages for
both track and album gain. You can verify this by using a command
like strings
