I also do not use my DVD/BR player anymore. Since I purchased a Network Media Tank device I ripped all my DVDs and BR films and home movies etc onto the xTb hard disk (could stream but only have wireless G at the moment (but I am sure that will change) and that is not good enough for the HD

The issue brought up the by OP and the issue I raise above are resolved. If you bring up the page with the player settings, you will see forget player on the basic setting page. I'm so happy that my player doesn't automatically disappear when the playlist ends. Though I grew used to it, it was

I have a WHS (HP MediaSmartServer) and SqueezeCentre performs flawlessly on it. Plus WHS has lots of nice easy to use functions for management etc. WHS is a good way to go for people who don't want to deal with the complexity of Linux. -- locksh

PC World are selling SB3s (SB Classic) for £129.99 using their reserve over the internet and collect in store option. Here in the West Midlands I had to travel a few miles to Wolverhampton as they had none locally in the Telford store or at Stafford. Looks like a hard price to beat currently.
