Good morning and best wishes. I've just sent following msg to Logitech support, but would appreciate any input from the forum: I've been using an old, but adequate Squeezebox (1) for a few years now. Yesterday I installed Squeezecenter on another laptop, did the usual database building etc.

Yes, tried all of that, no luck. It looks like a (permanent) lock up, started by the SB reporting a series of Slimproto errors over and over. I don't think hardware as such is broke, but looks like a firmware freeze of some kind ... -- jvl_001

Well, it works in the sense that it can mimic the IR remote of the SB classics and Transporter. Could be useful for someone who lost their IR remote, especially for pressing the Brightness key to update firmware. Beyond that I don't know of anything that has been developed yet. -- aubuti
