Have you checked whether you see artwork in the Squeezebox Server web
interface?
Is your artwork probably in bmp format? That's no longer supported -
actually it never really was but it did somewhat work in pre-7.4
releases.

Hm. that's a bit weird.
iPeng gets its cover art from the server so it should be the same.
Are you browsing by Music Folder? Apart from that the web UI and iPeng
_should_ be identical, especially on the NowPlaying screen.
The one change I'm aware of is the bmp thing, yet that's already in
7.4.0
I keep getting a Growl notification (a Mac thing) that there's an
upgrade available for my Squeezebox Server, and that I should go to the
System Preferences pane to access it. But I don't see anything in the
Preferences pane about getting updates. I know I can just go to the site
to download it,
When you're opening the SBS pref pane you should be asked to run the installer.
Don't you get this? What's the version/revision info bottom right?

I use squeezeslave on my headless SC
In the WebUI, under settings advanced Network (pull down menu) there
is an option to look for UPnP media servers. Don't know if it'll work,
but worth a try. Let us know...

I went back to 7.4.0 and ALL my cover art is back on iPeng.
Most of the artwork is still missing on the SqueezeBox Server but
happily my iPod Touch shows everything. I chose the Ella Fitzgerald
playlist again for the official experiment and now all the cover art for
all nine albums
a very timely inquiry on the matter.
given the troubles i had with 7.4.0 in Ubuntu I am wondering whether I
should (reluctantly) move my environment to the dark side, and I just
plonked down the required $200 (makes you appreciate Ubuntu even more)
for the 7 upgrade on that side of the home
