The Question is, how Spotify knows, what type of device Squeezebox
really is? Is this information dynamicaly sent from plug-in to Spotify
server?
Or developer of this plug-in must first for plug-in officialy to get
licence from Spotify and in Plug-in description must to be said, for

The plugin uses libspotify which only works with paid-for accounts.
Spotify's own Apps obviously can do other things.

I love the product, all working great on my mini Denon system.
However today I just bought my first 'real' Squeezebox device in the

Any suggestions on how to cure this?

Hi
I have used a Sqeezebox Classic for some years now and am very happy
with it. These days I invariably control it via the iPad App: Logitech

I am considering buying a Squeezebox Receiver (probably off eBay) to use

No, you can't. You either need the Squeezebox Controller (hardware) or
you can use the Net::UDAP command line tool for the setup.

Are you actually synching the two players (ipad and touch) versus simply

The Touch then plays whatever I am playing on the iPad; if I change
music or skip forward a track the Touch does too. But it's about a half
beat ahead when it is playing.
It's probably either the AVR or the USB DAC introducing a delay. It
should be constant, try to compensate it using the delay setting in the
server's player settings (web UI)

OK, thanks. I can see what the problem is, there's obviously some menu

Which server version do you use and do you use any unusual plugins?
I sent you a mail. I've got a fix, would be good if you could test it.

Yes, iPeng has a few Apps of it's own.
With the exception of Twitter they are essentially web site links that

They are meant to play links from web sites on your Squeezebox so you

I may have posted too soon. A 2nd SB2 also using IR-Blaster works as it
