Squeezeplay after configuring eqMac for the 'MacBook Pro Speakers'. No

I've configured
Well eqMac evidently creates an output device called "MacBook Pro
Speakers (eqMac)". So as a quick test I fired up Sqeezelite with:
Code:
Squeezelite -o "MacBook Pro Speakers (eqMac)"
The equaliser works properly. So I feel confident that

The nice thing about it is it captures "per player", date/time, and
track info regardless of it's your library, an internet station, or
service. For example

The only thing that appears to be missing is the source, i.e. the latest

I downloaded it from the internet and then double clicked the img file
in the downloads
I the tried to use the command "xattr -cr /Applications/SqueezePlay.app"
and I get this reply: "No such file: /Applications/SqueezePlay.app".
Where did you install SqueezePlay?

I tried installing SqueezePlay on a Mac M1 as well but it doesn't work.
I get the message "SqueezePlay is damaged and can't be opened. You
should eject the disk image".
I the tried to use the command "xattr -cr /Applications/SqueezePlay.app"
and I get this reply: "No such file:

I seriously doubt it.
The consumers you're talking about buy into high-end buds and hi-res
streaming because they believe

Thats not down to Tidal though is it? Its the label releasing a poor
digital remastering and probably applies to the same ELP album streamed
from elsewhere.
I can see the take up of FLAC streaming causing a reversal
Look at the WhatWasThatTune plugin

I've just installed Squeezeplay on a new M1 Mac - did the xattr fix and
I'm up and running. With one of the QVGA skins it's a great compact
little player and/or controller to leave in a corner of the desktop. My
Mac is a 16" Macbook, and it has surprisingly good built-in speakers, so
I'll
There's also the option to use Last.fm Audioscrobbler (A plugin - can't
remember if it is default installed on LMS). I believe last.fm has an
API where you can fetch your play-log information from.

This page suggests using a HifiBerry Dac driver if using Moode or
Volumio, so that option 'may' work on pCP. On the reviews section
Audiophonics themselves suggest using pCP to overcome a fade-in issue
between tracks.
