I'm no expert on log files but I think you have a number of corrupted files or permission problems. I would follow the suggestions I made in my previous post ie where you use the OS disk and run disk utility. It's not complex and wouldn't take too long. -- avta

people connect their SB's directly to their amp's but I don't think that's the best thing to do. It's not my opinion but that of the SB's developer who has commented on this in the past. You should use a preamp between the SB and your amp. -- avta

quickly be able to tell if the SB is working by trying to connect to Squeezenetwork. By the way if you haven't unplugged the SB for a few minutes then re-connected it I'd recommend you give that a try. When you power it up hold down the Add button then go through the setup routine. -- avta

John: I have an SB2 but you might try disconnecting the power for a few minutes then re-power the unit holding down the Add button on the remote if you have one. With the SB2 this re-sets the unit to factory settings so you will have to go through the set up process again. -- avta

Reset your SB.i.e. Disconnect the power cord. Hold down the Add/+ button on the remote while you plug the power back in. This should get you back to the factory setup screen. Go through the setup. Be sure you select Ethernet/wired connection. Hope that helps. -- avta

I've had this problem before. I downloaded the newest version of 7.0 and it will not scan my Music Library. 6.5.5 has no problem doing it. I run Mac OS 10.4 .11. cleaned the caches. ran verify permissions. No luck. I had posted this before but did not get any replies. Any ideas? -- avta
