If the problem is with dns entries for the wma servers then you could try the FlashAAC streams from the iPlayer plugin or BBC Radio applet. -- Triode Triode's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17

With increasing regularity, when I attempt to listen to BBC Radio 4 FM, via my own server, either via iPlayer or the 'BBC' app in MyApps, it doesn't connect. If I select Radio 4 LW instead, it's fine. I'm not sure that it's to do with the time of day (i.e. demand-related); although it is

I got bored with the BBC repeatedly breaking the Radio 4 FM stream. I've gone back to using the WaveInput plugin and a DAB radio plugged into my server again. Thankfully they seem to manage to break iPlayer less often than the live stream. -- andynormancx Yes, it will. Yes, all of them. Yes,

I've had a similar problem with Radio4FM late at night and even early morning (2am-ish) on a Touch with BBCiPlayer app. As you say, the Radio4LW stream will connect straight away, and sometimes 4FM will connect on a 2nd attempt. -- bonze TranquilPC T2-WHS-A3 - SqueezeCenter Version: 7.6.0 -
