characters correctly from windows, but these are not displayed

Well, it seems to have had some effect. There was a big improvement but
still some slippage.
I then set up the 'Synchronizer' Plugin and that has solved it all. I
recommend trying this if you're still having problems.

downloading picture as per the attached screenshot, that stays there
until I change screen. I presume it's struggling with a .png file, but
how do I find out more, ie is it one of my jpegs that's causing it, is

synced slimp3 and sb2. I've also noticed that the original problem
continues when I use any dynamic playlist. I think maybe there's a bug
with the dynamic playlist plugin which is quite possible since it's in

I am far from an expert but all my iTunes playlists show up in SC with
the settings as described above. I have always assumed the iTunes
playlists are imbedded in the xml file. If you are using iTunes to

Well I don't know about playlists cause I never use them. But maybe
this will help answer your question. I just installed v7 over 6.5 and
the installer uninstalled 6.5 in the process before installing sc7. I
would guess that your playlists will be safe because my
\SlimServer\server\Playlists

folders from where they were in SS 6.5.
Some things are differently organised (or need new versions of the
plugins) between the two. I am not sure exactly what was transferred
