I think this is a case of It's been around, so the basic stuff is lost
in the noise. (That, or I couldn't google earth if it was under my feet!)
Where can I find an overview of how the nokia 770 or ipeng SqueezeCenter
plugins work. This is, if that is what they are. This may be where
Bloomberg radio is broadcast using Microsoft`s Advanced Streaming Format
(.asf, .asx). Isn't this format supported?

OK, the reason it takes so longer to buffer is because the station is
sending an incorrect bitrate header:
x-audiocast-bitrate:24000
This should be:
x-audiocast-bitrate:24
We calculate buffering time based on the bitrate of the stream. I'll
see about adding some way to detect this case.

seconds to buffer up, whereas on Winamp, it plays straight away.

with one receiver connected wirelessly.
It keeps stopping at random points in songs. The web interface still
thinks the song is playing, and after a while the song restarts from

To the OP, sounds a bit like you have the Composer, Band and Orchestra
in Artists option switched on. Squeezecenter/Settings/Music Library
The option enables song information about composers, bands and
orchestras can be included in the artists list for browsing and search.
