I've just installed the latest Squeezecentre on Ubuntu and I've found
the internet radio area on my Squeezebox is gone. On the server, the
only thing listed is Tune in URL and there are no options for RadioIO,
Live365 et al.
Am I missing something?

You need to be registered on Squeezenetwork and have entered your SN
details into SC before the Internet Radio Items appear. After entering
the SN detail - restart SC.

Hi,
When I'm playing internet radio on my Squeezebox classic, there's just
a black screen. This doesn't happen when I'm playing music from my
collection.
Am I missing a setting? Is this a known issue?

which is a major reason why my wife hasn't accepted internet radio. I've
tried with a playlist of several instances of a station, set to repeat,

Are you playing Internet Radio through your SC or are you connected
Does your PC do a power save ?
If playing through SC then it is possible for PC to go into power save
and SB will continue playing stream direct from internet but PC cannot
provide display info.

You may just need to stop and start SqueezeCenter when you reboot to
get around the issue.
sudo /etc/init.d/squeezecenter [start | stop | restart]

Try to reset the SB to factory settings and then reapply any firmware
updates. Also, you may want to upgrade 7.3.3 to final production

Would anyone else like to see the ability to vary the pitch of the music

even use the SB to learn a song.
Sorry if this has been asked, but I've never seen it mentioned.

Can I go home now?
Thanks I'll try 7.4 when it's out of beta. I'm reluctant to go to 7.3.x
as there seem to be issues for a lot of people. My setup's generally
stable so I don't relish a lot of troubleshooting when there's no need
to.

If you can configure your modem to operate in bridged mode, I'd
consider a Linksys WRT54GL wireless router and load Tomato or DD-WRT on

For OSX if you disable WMA decoding - then you need some app to do the
mms transport decoding within the PC such as mplayer via the AlienBBC
plugin.
Then try the URL
