raspberry pi ? I've heard of these, what do they do ? If I can set it up

it isn't working
at all, apart from after numerous attempts when I don't do anything
different at all, just change settings then it decides to play ball.
I must say, the theory that it is a dislodged or a faulty card fits and
could be the reason.

buy a new one tbh. If I go down that route,
what is the best, or newest models, that would do this job ?
Is the old slimline devices the same, or inferior ? I've never used the
radio, I just want to stream to my hifi.

have tried to sync these
IP numbers numerous times in the past week but nothing has changed other
than the 2 times I got lucky but when I tried to connect again the next
day, it wouldn't connect again.

been consistent. Until now, it won't connect
and it keeps changing the server IP.
I would say that when I performed the windows rollup a couple of weeks
ago, it triggered the failure I'm getting now, but that could just be
co-incidence.

just connected to squeezebox . com and it gives me a range of options,
one is to connect to Logitech Media Server (which used "66" at the end
and didn't work. I have never used this option until now.

it is also running in windows xp sp2 mode (not windows 7), I don't know
why. My brother set it up for me like this as it previously belonged to

I've changed the wireless address and key number on the SB from old to
new, even though I'm not sure this was necessary as I use a cable rather
