it turns on, and tries to connect, but won't.

It has occasionally failed to connect for a while now, I needed to
reboot the SB, or my PC/router to get it working. Now it isn't working
at all, apart from after numerous attempts when I don't do anything
different at all, just change settings then it decides to play ball.

I must say, the theory that it is a dislodged or a faulty card fits and
could be the reason.
